Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to execute precise installations
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and distribution systems
- Lead emergency response teams during critical outages and system failures
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system modifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate large-scale projects
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Expertise in reading complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency with troubleshooting high-voltage systems (480V+)
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
