Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layouts and wiring sequences.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for operations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate logs of materials and time.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, NEC codes, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and handle physical labor, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
