About the Role:
As a Night Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within our manufacturing plant. You will ensure that all equipment remains operational during the night hours to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on industrial electrical systems and machinery.
- Install, modify, and troubleshoot wiring, circuits, and control panels.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential electrical hazards and safety risks.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless handover of facility status.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (12-hour shifts: 10 PM - 6 AM or 11 PM - 7 AM).
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
