Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installation, repair, and maintenance in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems to resolve faults efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide mentorship to junior apprentices and trainees on site.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial/residential electrical work.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Technical certification preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in wiring, circuitry, and the use of electrical testing equipment.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Tools: Own a valid and reliable set of hand and power tools.
