Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan complex installations and repairs.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on complex electrical circuits and heavy machinery during off-peak hours.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and supervisors to complete large-scale projects efficiently.
- Document all work performed accurately and maintain up-to-date time logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of California).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the production schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and technical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site travel.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
