Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex industrial electrical systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain lighting fixtures, motors, control panels, and switchgear.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Document all maintenance activities and repair logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee Journeyman Electrician License is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and circuit protection.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
