Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and requirements.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a regular basis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
