Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and systems according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Secure necessary permits and maintain accurate, up-to-date job site documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent 5+ years of related experience).
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, power distribution, and lighting systems.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site travel.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and workplace safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30 Hour certification is preferred.
