Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced professionals with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical diagrams and schematics under supervision.
- Perform Material Prep: Help organize, cut, and prepare wire, conduit, and other materials for installation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Fixture Installation: Install lighting fixtures, outlets, and switches as directed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to obtain Journeyman Electrician certification in the future.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measuring and cutting materials.
