Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical issues during night shifts.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent system failures.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure smooth operational handovers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License required for New York State.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, including multimeters and meggers.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely during night shifts and weekends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
