Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and NFPA electrical safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently
- Coordinate with contractors and facility managers on project timelines
- Document work orders and maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Train junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and motor control circuits
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Flexible availability for night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
