Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring requirements
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion
- Inspect and upgrade existing electrical systems for safety and efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Master/Journeyman preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency with NEC codes and local regulations
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Flexibility for occasional travel to New York metro area
