Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings during night shifts
- Diagnose complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics for precise installations
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and NEC safety standards
- Lead emergency response teams for critical power outages
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system status
- Collaborate with engineering teams for system optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/industrial experience
- Night shift or 24-hour environment experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency with conduit bending and raceway systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic skills for PLC and VFD systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
