Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure strict compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC) and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate with facility management to minimize operational disruptions during night shifts
- Perform preventative maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and control systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system modifications
Qualifications
- Valid Florida State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with 120V-480V power systems and industrial controls
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in night environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
