Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical faults under low-light conditions.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and company safety protocols.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at the end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, time logs, and material usage.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize tasks and ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Louisiana (Apprentice licenses will be considered with 5+ years of experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, circuit diagrams, and electrical theory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
