Responsibilities
- Diagnose & Repair: Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs on residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Installation: Execute the safe and efficient installation of new electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to plan work accurately.
- Safety Oversight: Maintain a zero-accident work environment by enforcing strict safety protocols during night operations.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and technical issues.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Texas or Florida).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Tools: Possession of own hand tools and ability to pass a background/drug screen.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with power tools, multimeters, and electrical testing equipment.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle for site-to-site travel.
