Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, complying with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Inspect electrical systems, apparatus, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist in training junior electricians and apprentices as required.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, meggers, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina.
