Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial electrical systems, including motors, transformers, and control panels.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Utilize test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes) to diagnose electrical faults and verify system functionality.
- Assist in the installation and repair of high-voltage systems and lighting fixtures.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and repair orders.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless operations and handover of critical systems.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required (Apprentice licenses considered with 5+ years of experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work the Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (outdoor maintenance).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
