Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and circuits.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation work.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly following safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
- Operate and handle various electrical hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain required journeyman or apprentice licenses within a specified timeframe.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand measurements.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to professional growth.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
