Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects while maintaining safety protocols
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing training to develop advanced electrical skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship program (6-12 months)
