Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and ensuring safety compliance according to OSHA standards.
- Wiring & Connections: Help with basic wiring tasks, running conduit, and connecting electrical components under supervision.
- Testing & Inspection: Assist in testing electrical systems to ensure they function correctly and meet safety codes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
- Experience: No prior electrical experience is necessary. We provide all the training you need to succeed.
