Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations accurately.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system longevity and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and any necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution systems.
- Tools: Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment.
- Skillset: Ability to read and create basic electrical layouts and schematics.
- Reliability: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
