Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breaker upgrades.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Inspect electrical systems, components, and devices to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all work orders and inspections.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, and clients to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory and system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Current OSHA 30-hour card (preferred).
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
