Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostic testing of electrical equipment
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and California Title 24 regulations
- Perform safety inspections and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Collaborate with journeyman electricians on residential and commercial projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to stand, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within 6 months
