At Sunshine Electrical Services, we believe in growing our own talent. You will receive hands-on, paid training while working on residential and commercial projects across the Charlotte area. If you have a mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic, we want to train you.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Material Preparation: Gather necessary tools, materials, and equipment for job sites and ensure all safety gear is worn correctly.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Basic Wiring: Learn to wire outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and receptacles under supervision.
- Schematic Reading: Study and learn to interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong drive to master the trade.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
