Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layout and installation.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards, ensure safety compliance, and prevent accidents.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (or applicable state certification).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Industry Training certification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
