Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing inquiries with a customer-first approach.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical faults and repair equipment efficiently.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Kansas required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Tools: Possession of necessary hand tools and ability to operate power tools and testing equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document work orders clearly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License and reliable transportation.
