Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections for commercial/clients
- Diagnose electrical failures using diagnostic tools and multimeters
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Document work orders and maintain detailed service records
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local building regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
