Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics with meticulous attention to detail
- Ensure strict adherence to NEC and California Title 24 energy codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and troubleshooting methodologies
- Lead weekend emergency response teams for critical power restoration projects
- Train junior electricians on safety protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with project managers to meet weekend shift deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in conduit bending, circuit installation, and transformer operations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces/heights
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters and voltage testers
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
