Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems per NEC standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC and lighting systems
- Manage inventory and order materials for weekend projects
- Lead weekend emergency call-outs for critical power failures
- Maintain detailed service logs and client communication records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient with conduit bending, motor controls, and PLC systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 8am-6pm)
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
