Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial equipment.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Safety First: Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for safety violations; use proper PPE and follow all OSHA guidelines.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other trades personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent state license).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional electrical experience.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Tools: Possession of a current, valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Skills: Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, voltage detectors) and hand tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
