Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions and system failures efficiently, often under time-sensitive weekend conditions.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Los Angeles building codes.
- Site Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by identifying hazards, using appropriate PPE, and following all OSHA regulations.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, professional communication to clients regarding project status, timelines, and electrical requirements.
- Documentation: Complete necessary permits, inspections, and job site reports accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of California.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required by the schedule.
- Tools: Possession of a valid journeyman tools pouch or ability to provide own tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read blueprints and technical schematics.
