Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and foundation work per blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with OSHA-compliant safety protocols
- Install, assemble, and disassemble scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces to meet industry standards
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment daily to ensure operational readiness
- Adhere to EPA and environmental regulations for waste disposal
- Collaborate with skilled trades to maintain project timelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years commercial construction experience with verifiable references
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required
- Valid Indiana driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
