Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial wiring projects.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow blueprints and technical diagrams to install fixtures and circuits.
- Test electrical systems to ensure they function correctly.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues simply.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and local building codes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- No prior formal electrical experience required; willingness to learn is key.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer skills for logging job progress.
