Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with California Electrical Code (CEC) and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose faults using advanced testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
- Perform emergency repairs during weekend operational downtimes
- Collaborate with facility managers to optimize electrical infrastructure
- Document all work activities with detailed service reports
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (Class C-10)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and motor control centers
- Weekend availability (Saturdays/Sundays, 6am-6pm)
- Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and inclement weather
- Strong diagnostic skills with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
