Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for accurate installations
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with project managers and team leads to meet weekend shift deadlines
- Perform system upgrades and retrofits on existing electrical infrastructure
- Document all work performed using digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Washington State Electrical Journeyman License (or equivalent)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local Seattle regulations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
