Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics to execute precise electrical layouts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Conduct safety inspections and implement preventative maintenance protocols
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless execution of weekend assignments
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, circuit design, and load calculations
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong diagnostic skills for HVAC, lighting, and power distribution systems
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with Fluke multimeters and other diagnostic equipment
