Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial properties with precision and speed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical system issues, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with strict local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to identify potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the foreman and project team to meet project milestones and quality standards.
- Manage on-site inventory of tools, materials, and equipment, reporting shortages or damages immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, communicating technical details clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Georgia or the Washington DC area.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong technical knowledge of circuitry, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and power distribution systems.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by project demands.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with modern electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
