Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repair on commercial and industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute complex tasks.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License for the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to work weekend shifts and holidays as required by business needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Physical stamina to perform duties on-site, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Must possess own reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
