Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC and DC local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead project teams and mentor junior technicians
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials
- Document work progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid DC Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Proven expertise in conduit bending, wiring, and load calculations
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for urgent projects
