Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project execution
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients for seamless project delivery
- Maintain detailed work logs and documentation for safety and compliance
- Mentor junior electricians and participate in continuous training initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Electrician License (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong understanding of NEC standards and local Austin building codes
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proven track record of safety compliance and quality workmanship
