Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Lead project teams and supervise apprentices/junior electricians
- Conduct thorough safety inspections and provide detailed reports
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and building managers
- Maintain inventory of tools and materials for assigned projects
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee electrician license (or reciprocity with Illinois)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with NEC codes and safety protocols
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
