Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for project execution
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC and Illinois electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors
- Perform safety inspections and implement OSHA standards
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and lift 50+ lbs
- Experience with renewable energy systems a plus
