Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Perform quality checks and report project progress to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid O-10 or NYC DOB certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and best practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
