The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and repair as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding job progress.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
