Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with daily tasks
- Prepare and clean job sites, including material handling and debris removal
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and safety protocols
- Operate hand tools and light equipment under supervision
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and site-specific procedures
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Perform general site maintenance and equipment checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions precisely
