Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and Florida regulations
- Diagnose electrical failures using testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
- Manage project timelines and material inventory for assigned work orders
- Coordinate with contractors and clients for seamless project execution
- Document all work performed and maintain safety compliance records
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC and local building codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation with valid Florida driver's license
- Weekly pay requires active contractor status (W-9 ready)
