Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layout and installation.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete projects accurately.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable work experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
