Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors and project managers for seamless execution
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for project needs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience required
- Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- OSHA 10/30 certification or ability to obtain immediately
- Proficiency in conduit bending, motor control, and PLC systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Milwaukee County
