Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Valid California electrician license (C-10 classification required)
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit design
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
